Droitwich Division is always hoping that more adults will join us to enjoy the fun and excitment of being involved in Guiding.

The Aims of Brownies…..

Brownies is not a glorified play group for girls. We have dedicated aims to encourage the girls to develop as an individual, to learn to work as a team member and to acquire leadership skills.

These aims are achieved through a variety of games, badges and ventures that the Brownies progress through during their 3 years with us.

It is also important to remember that the adult leaders in Brownies, are not teachers, but they are Guiders. This is a very important difference. We allow many of the decisions within the pack to be made by the girls – they come up with the ideas and then vote on what they want to do – these decisions are often taken in the form of a Pow Wow, an American Indian name for a group chat.
